Development of a CCAK Documentary and Animation videos on Clean Cooking and Women.

Financing has been a key barrier to the adoption of clean cooking solutions both for consumers and entrepreneurs. In response to this, the Clean Cooking Association is working in Kwale County with officials from both national and county governments on the Involvement of Vulnerable Women in Clean Cooking Entrepreneurial Initiatives Project which calls for the allocation of funding to women entrepreneurs in the clean cooking realm, with special focus on affirmative funding provided by the government. Funded by HIVOS under the Green and Inclusive Energy Programme Strategic Partnership - Energy, this project targets vulnerable girls and women in Kwale County, and it runs from August 2019 to July 2020.
