The Clean Cooking Association of Kenya has published its 2020 Annual Report today highlighting key achievements, significant activities with key sector stakeholders throughout the year, and sector challenges.
CCAK is increasingly being recognized as the voice of clean cooking in Kenya with convening power and influence. This is necessary to achieving the sectors and associations objectives. We strive to create partnerships that would provide extensive growth to the clean cooking sector. In the year 2019, CCAK achieved various milestones which are highlighted in greater detail in the pillar reports.
On 29th May 2020, CCAK held its 8th Annual General Meeting on the Bluejeans platforms. The meeting was attended by Members, Partners and sector representative. This was the first time in the CCAK history for the meeting to be held virtually but due to the pandemic, it was unavoidable. Some of the key highlights was the celebration of eight year of the association’s existence and still growing stronger, the change of the constitution and the organizational structure and most importantly the implementation of the new strategic plan 2018-2022 have been fully adopted, with the activities being categorized in pillars.
